The procedure is performed under general anaesthetic in an accredited hospital and takes about two hours. You can expect to stay in hospital for one to two days. Dr Lim will review you post-operatively and will prescribe analgesia and antibiotics for you to continue on discharge. Dr Lim’s staff will keep in contact with you after the procedure, monitor your progress and attend to any queries you may have. Dr Lim will review you one week after the surgery with further reviews scheduled at one, three and six months post operation.
Our goal is to make your experience as easy and comfortable as possible. Dr Lim and the Nurse Consultant will take as much time with you as is necessary to answer any questions you may have.
Dr Lim performs the surgery in fully accredited hospitals: Castle Hill Hospital, Holroyd Private Hospital, The Hills Private Hospital and Westmead Private Hospital. Breast lift surgery is usually performed as a day surgery procedure although you may wish to have an overnight stay. The surgery is performed under a general anaesthetic.
